Welcome to Hive Huddersfield CIC, award-winning social enterprise based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
Following our inception and opening initially as a café and community space, in the Summer of 2025 our Founder and the wider voluntary Board made the decision to solely concentrate on the delivery of our multi-generational wellbeing support in Huddersfield.
In February 2026 we are thrilled that two of our projects, Hive Youth and Hive Wellbeing will be delivered from our great partner, Amped Cafe. With easy access to parking and directly across from the University of Huddersfield, this fabulous community benefit café and community venue is the perfect choice for Hive.
Hive Youth, after 4 years of delivery supporting young people aged 13 to 17 years we are thrilled to announce that we are switching things up a little. Our LGBTQIA+ support will be for those aged 16 to 21 years, the 2nd Tuesday of the month in Amped Café – from 5-7pm. Expect a chilled, sober space aimed at offering a supportive, fun and engaging programme. No referrals need for our social group – just come along.
Hive Wellbeing is place based support for all adults, who require connection and to help alleviate a sense of loneliness and those seeking a safe and welcoming space to craft, talk and find common ground. Working as a peer led programme and supported by our wellbeing lead, Kimberley, this operates at Amped Café every Wednesday from 11am through to 3pm.
